This island is unique in that you don't share it will any other parties, just yours! Escape to Haven private Island! A secluded Northwoods retreat on beautiful Lake Winter in the statuesque Northwoods of WI. Explore trails, find secret hangouts, swim, fish, grill, boat, canoe, kayak, relax in one of the hammocks. A fully equipped chalet w/ open concept, vaulted ceilings, Wi-Fi, A/C, smart TV & more. Comfortably accommodates 14 people. Child-friendly, dogs allowed. 18ft, 2024 pontoon, kayaks, paddle boat, canoe all included!

Fill your days with swimming, fishing, grilling, boating, golfing (nearby) and kayaking, and your nights gathered around the camp fire. 

Your own private area:
Wooded trails, several docks and secluded spaces to discover. Explore the lake in the provided kayaks, canoe, paddle boat or pontoon! Stop at the bar/restaurant on the lake. Rent ATV's or jet skis and have them delivered!

You'll love the wrap-around deck on 3 sides of the chalet. Enjoy the outdoor pavilion for dining, hanging out, cooking out, playing cards, etc.

Have fun with the various yard games, several swimming areas, fishing poles, flat grill, shoreline yard swing and much more.

Inside the chalet, the main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, living room with floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views, three bedrooms, bathroom with walk-in shower, dining area, electric fireplace, laundry room, three season room with queen size futon for additional sleeping.

The upper loft includes a spacious master suite and lounge area with breathtaking lake views, a log framed king bed, executive bathroom with walk-in shower and double vanity, and a small bedroom with bunkbeds. There’s plenty of room in the loft to accommodate an air mattress or pack and play, if needed.

Main floor sleeping areas:
4 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with double bed, 3 season room with queen futon
Upper Loft Sleeping Areas:
Large bedroom with king bed, sofa sleeper, small additional bedroom with bunk beds.

Guest access:
Room for six vehicles to park at private easement near dock.

Tourist attractions and activities:
Located on the 74-mile Tuscobia State Trail through the forest, you’ll discover a variety of fun outdoor activities, like hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV & UTV riding and bird watching, just a short drive from the island.
In addition, there are many tourist attractions in Hayward, approximately a 50-minute drive, including go-kart racing, mini-golf, rock climbing, batting cages, gift shops of all kinds, golf courses, an escape room, zoo/wilderness walk, and more for you to discover!
In addition to the nearby golf course and Tuscobia Trail (for mountain biking, hiking & recreational vehicles), there are many touris attractions in Hayward, approximately a 50-minute drive, including go-kart racing, mini-golf, rock climbing, batting cages, gift shops of all kinds, golf courses, an escape room, zoo/wilderness walk, and more for you to discover!

Island Info

Lake Information
Lake Winter is a 257 acre Class A Musky lake, average depth is 9 ft, max depth is 22 ft, approx. ¾ mile wide and 2.5 miles long. Haven Island is 5 acre parcel with about 1,400 ft of water frontage.

Watercraft Information
Renting Haven Island also includes an additional private lot on the mainland for parking and easy boat access to and from the island. A 12-person pontoon is included, and boat landings are nearby to use your own or rented watercraft. Rental watercraft from a 3rd party can be delivered to the island. Watercraft training from 3rd party sources is also available.

ATV Information
